Welcome to Middlesex County Department of Community Services Grants!
The Middlesex County Department of Community Services and the Board of Chosen Freeholders are pleased to provide funds to organizations serving Middlesex County through a competitive grant process. Additional grant opportunities are available through the County Purchasing Office. Each grant has specific requirements and funding cycles. Information on each funding opportunity is listed below, including a link to a detailed description of the grant, and a contact person for any questions. Please review this information to ensure your agency fully understands and meets the requirements of any grant being considered.
The following grants are available through the Department of Community Services:
The Office of Aging & Disabled Services administers the following grants:
Area Plan Contract Grant
Provides assistance to municipal senior centers or other governmental agencies able to directly provide the services for programs serving impoverished, minority and frail/disabled seniors over the age of 60. More information can be found on the Middlesex County webpage.
Senior Citizen Club Grant
Provides assistance to Senior Clubs with their ongoing community services activities.
The Office of Human Services administers the following grants:
Ryan White
Provides services to eligible People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in Middlesex, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.
Annual grant period 3/1-2/28
County Commissioner Support Grant
Provides funding to organizations with a Section 501(c)3 status that provide services based on the County's Funding Priorities.

Once you are logged on you can click on Resources to download pertinent information for each grant.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- You may use a MAC or a PC to complete your application.
- Chrome is the recommended browser. However, Internet Explorer version 9 or higher may also be used.
- Keep your ID and password, as you will use the same identifiers next grant cycle.
- You may be prevented from progressing to the next page, if you have inadvertently failed to answer a required question. Look for error messages.
- You may exit the application at any time and log on to resume working on it any time prior to the closing date.
- Your web browser MUST accept cookies. You may revert to your preferred settings once application has been submitted..
- If a window appears at the bottom of your screen, asking whether to allow only secure content or all content - click ALL content.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- You may cut and paste your answers from a Microsoft Word document or a .txt document. Navigate from page to page by using the buttons at the bottom of each screen.
- Please pay careful attention to the instructions within each grant application. You will not be able to submit the application until all required questions are answered and attachments uploaded. If you are having difficulties, please contact the individual indicated in the grant description.
